Hi Le:

I am delighted to hear from you. I think you have discovered an important key to happiness, volunteering, doing things for others, is an important way to build happiness in our lives. If you want to read a really great book on happiness, I would highly recommend Martin Seligman's "Authentic Happiness". (website - www.authentichappiness.org).

Two colleagues of mine teach an MBSR class at Conestoga College through extension. If you contact me by e-mail or twitter I can provide you with contact information.

All the best

Hi Barry,
Thank you for letting me in your community!
This is quite a synchonicity for me to land on your web site.
I have been reading books on happiness written by Robert Holden and listening to "Stumbling on Hapiness" by Dan Gilbert. I followed the link from umasmed.edu trying to find information on how I can learn then help people release stress and be happy.

I also had opportunity listening to Mathiew Ricard from Youtube and Ted.com and was so delighted seing his name mentioned in your home page.
I experience "flow" when doing volunteer work. (I help Toronto public library coordinate the "Youth Leadership Program" or mentor the Litteracy program. I also experience flow when I am in the library flipping through books and looking for idea on how to motivate people.
Outside daily job, I experience flow when sitting, talking with friends in yoga class.

Thank you very much for making this nice and relaxing web page available. I have not read all your posts and will come back for that.
If you plan on teaching a class MBSR in Toronto, please let me know.
I checked the college where you teach but did not find a class that I am looking for.
I may need to sign up as participant to get the experience.
Regards,
Le
